Don't Buy The PlayBook #-3
« on: January 03, 2010, 06:09:15 AM »

Now this bull is an interesting one & will require some thought for the guessers! The picture isn't the greatest but heck none of mine are! (grin) I have no photo of entrance wound but this is good one to ponder because of where he was hit!

I shot this bull at just under 30yds, I was using a muzzy 3-blade 125grn head on a goldtip 7595 carbon arrow, the bow was an old Hoyt Fastflite at 72#---As the bull came through a small opening I nervous grunted him & he froze in the window, I shot & I saw him give a slight dip & bolt, I had heard a loud 'crack' at impact & could see most of my arrow sticking out of him, the shot was straight up the crease just behind front leg & high, yep right in the scapula but in the lower portion of it just under the petition wall, I guessed at the shot I had aprox 8" of penetration as he bolted. I didn't like the shot so backed out for 3 hours & returned to hopefully pick up a trail.

Taking everything into consideration how far did this bull travel before expiring? The Winner will Win a Free ElkNuts PlayBook including shipping!
